Lyrics Copyrighted Eye for an eye and tooth for tooth and when you go blind I will give you mine to use. Lie for the liars, no truth for the youth, but if you don't mind I would love to shine on you- crazy diamonds in the sky knowin' no more than day and night, fall and fill the holes in my head, heavy like a Zeppelin made of Led. Clear out your ears and hear me here, but if you go deaf I will learn to sign for you. Believe the believers, we're oh so near, and if you get left I will turn to find all you- Lonely nomads on this Earth goin' for more than what it's worth, always leavin those kids behind, as light as a feather from on high

Lyrics Copyrighted I tried to turn back time to see what I'd find, but I couldn't stop and I got caught on the edge of never and forever- was coming up right behind me, and it didn't stop, and it caught up right beside me, and I couldn't hide or be seen on either side or between, of who I would find or what I would be. I tried to burn the tide to feel warm inside, but a cloud of frost got me all lost, not even knowing for what I seek, I reached- so far up for a sun beam, but it wasn't hot and it's one shot went right through me, then bright Gold and Blue mixed with Green was all I saw and knew I could breathe easy with the tune of the sea. I tried to learn the rhymes of another's mind, but I couldn't drop the crushing thought of how different things could be and should be- cause life's last watch is winding, and it's obvious to some of us, like you and me, we've been catching sight the gears of the ether, tried for eons to slow their grinding, now picking up speed.

Heaven Sent 04:00
Lyrics Copyrighted Well I know that most of you just wont believe me when I say to you, I know that most of you just wont believe me when I say to you, Well I know that most of you just wont believe it but I say it true, Well I, Slept outside last night, like I did the night before and I'll probably sleep outside again tonight, Oh Lord. Well I know that Heaven sent you here, I know your Heaven sent, my dear. I know that Heaven sent you here, and I know that Heaven waits for me. Well I know that Heaven sent you here, I know Heaven waits for me up there, but I, Well I slept outside last night like I have for years before and I'll probably sleep outside again, forevermore, Lord, Oh Lord.

DG; Wash the Twilight from my head, hangin' on a bright thread, Tell the man to fill my cup, honey I ain't gonna stop, little darlin' till I see you once again. Pinch me if I'm dreamin, I'm somewhere I've never been, when you lead me by my hands into the flame. Just the rain now, on my hat, and the past what use is that. Little darlin' 'till I see you once again. Me; Watch the child's storm spill my bottle, letting' go of dull needles. Hold the firelight to my heart, without you I, I won't start, little darlin' 'till I see you once again. Which you have you been, you're someone I've never seen, will you lean me on my feet inside the rain. Dust the flames down, off my coat, as I pass this future's ghost. Little darlin' 'till I see you once again. Catch the wildflight of my muse, fallin' off a busted fuse. Show the maids through. Scale my cliffs. Lonely but I, I just can't quit, little darlin' 'till I see you once again. Find me if I'm leavin', there's nowhere I'd rather be, then just follow me and head into the wind. Still the land shows of my trails, and the truths that never fail. Little darlin' 'till I see you once again.

Oh the time will come up when the winds will stop and the breeze will cease to be breathin', like the stillness in the wind before the hurricane begins, (Oh that) hour that (our) ship (finally) comes in. And the sea will split and the ship will hit and the sands on the shoreline will be shakin', and the tide will sound and the waves will pound and the mornin' will be breakin. The fishes will laugh as they swim out of the path and the sea gulls they'll be a-smilin'. And the rocks on the sand will proudly stand, the hour that (our) ship comes in. And the words that are used for to get the ship confused will not be understood as they're spoken, for the chains of the sea will have busted in the night and be buried at the bottom of the ocean. A song will lift as the main sail shifts and the boat drifts onto the shoreline and the sun will respect the every face on the deck the hour that (our) ship comes in. Then the sands will roll out a carpet of gold for your weary toes to be a-touchin' and the ship's wise men will remind you once again that the whole wide world is watchin'. Oh our foes will rise with the sleep still in their eyes and they'll jerk from their beds and think they're dreamin', but they'll pinch themselves and squeal and they'll know that it's for real, the hour that (our) ship comes in. Then they'll raise their hands sayin' "we'll meet all your demands", but we'll shout from the bow " Your days are numbered!" and like Pharaoh's tribe they'll be drownded in the tide and like Goliath they'll be conquered.

Unapologetic 03:45
Lyrics Copyrighted I don't know what to do because I'm easily confused. I wish I could choose, choose to lose these awful blues. No matter what I say, you wont apologize no way. Remember when he sang his apologies that day. Wear some torn up jeans, be more photogenic. man just say something and make it sound poetic. Unapologetic. The sun it makes me sneeze, hypo-allergenic. Will I always be, Sofa, King, Neurotic? Unapologetic. I don't want to hurt you, but your love I might refuse. I wish I could help you but you never let me, dude. Don't matter what I say, it wont change the rules or game. I remember the day, the day when I went away. Play it fast and mean, don't get hooked on chronic. Man just play something and make it sound hypnotic. Unapologetic. This sounds like a dream I have not forgotten. Have you always been, really, just psychotic? Unapologetic.

Lyrics Copyrighted You can give me your heart, babe, because I know it can get hard, down the line, carryin' somethin' that can feel so heavy at times. I carry the weight of the world on my shoulders, but if I can help you lighten your load, you can- give me your heart, babe, I will carry it down the road. I will show you my light, babe, because I know there can be dark dawn, at times, so carry this with you and fear no end, down the line. You may be in debt to the wrong kind of loaners, but since I've let go of all that I'm owed, you can- give me your heart, babe, I will carry it down the road.

about

Recorded, by myself, in a couple weeks in the basement-
using only an 8 track recorder, NO Computer ( for I do not own such a device) 1 right handed acoustic guitar, 1 left handed acoustic guitar, and 1 right handed electric guitar that I strung left handed, my first real electric guitar, my first time really, playing, electric guitar, the past few weeks, also with a few good mics and a drum set thanks to my awesome roommate, in NE Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Also I am NO drummer, so I just walked over to it with 1 track to spare, set up 1 mic and pounded out some kind of noise for a few tracks.
all the "vocals" I did last, in one day, my birthday, not my best "singing" performance that I'm capable of, and by the end of the night my voice was getting pretty tired but, it'll do, for now.
I am going to re-record most of these with better equipment (better vocals) a real drummer and hopefully with someone who actually knows what their doing, 'studio-wise'.
*unless you have good stereo speakers these will sound mucho better with headphones, K.
*Thanks Tony W. for helping me edit and upload that cover art.
It's funny I took that pic with my phone last spring shortly after I arrived back here, hanging out in Boom Island Park with nowhere to go, and this year Rock the Garden took place there.
